Trish and Hogarth team up in new Jessica Jones photos
The second season of Jessica Jones is two weeks away, but fans have received quite a few teases this week.
With two new trailers and a round of promotional images, Netflix has given Marvel fans another set of photos to get excited about. Unlike the previous glimpses, these images offer a bit more information regarding the upcoming season with characters interacting or the first look at some of the new additions.

For the most part, Jessica Jones season one had all of the storylines a bit disjointed. All of the characters really just interacted with the titular P.I., but not each other. While details have been kept under wraps, it looks like Trish and Hogarth are going to get their first substantial interactions sometime in the next thirteen episodes. Previous photos already teased another stint in jail for Jessica, so it’s possible the two are trying to figure out a way to bail her out or to wage a legal battle against IGH.

Hogarth and Jessica definitely didn’t end last season on good terms, but the ruthless lawyer was left morally indebted to the detective. Considering the former has never even visited her client’s apartment, something incredibly dire must have happened for her to arrive now. Based on Hogarth’s paranoid look at the camera, she might be getting followed by the IGH organization which destroyed Jessica’s life.

After The Defenders, it appeared as though Malcolm had taken on an assistant’s job at Alias Investigations. It’s unclear how exactly he’ll fit into this upcoming season of Jessica Jones, but based on the planner he is probably still working for his neighbor. His furrowed brow raises a bit of concern and makes one wonder if Jessica might be taking on a new client that he doesn’t necessarily trust. Unless he’s looking at new rival private eye who set his sights on buying out Alias.

Jessica looks awfully smug for someone who went through the ringer last year. The fancy building immediately rules out her apartment building, but it’s possible she’s at the new detective firm that’s been giving her trouble. Has she found information to shut them down? From the new trailer where she’s spying on their private eye, it looks like she will discover some evidence linking them to IGH.

Not much has been revealed about the new character, Oscar, other than his fierce protectiveness of his son. The single dad is getting off the bus, most likely new in town after taking a new job at Jessica’s building. In the trailer, a romance is teased between the two and the character description for his son promises to harbor an adoration for his super-powered neighbor. With no definitive answer about whether Luke Cage will return to Jessica Jones, it’s time for the rebellious loner to move on with her life.

Of course, moving forward isn’t as easy as it seems especially with the promise of a Kilgrave return. The fan-favorite villain died at the end of Jessica Jones season one but new photos definitely confirm his return. Whether IGH manages to bring him back to life or if his appearances are limited to PTSD flashbacks is unclear. One thing is for sure, fans will be excited to see David Tennant make his devious return.

Understandably, Jessica Jones is still going to have its lead suffering from alcoholism when the series returns in March. Her entire life has been marred by trauma, whether it’s the accident that killed her family or her torture at the hand of Kilgrave. While not much can be surmised from the photo, it’s clear that Jessica is still going to cope with her problems the only way she knows how.

The last time the brooding detective took a cab was when she was traveling back to her childhood home. Based on the background, it appears as though Jessica will be venturing outside of the city for investigation. It follows the theme of last season that everyone is defined by the moments in their past. From the large metal gate and the trees with memorial ribbons on them, she might be visiting the graveyard where her family was buried after learning about IGH’s hand in their death.

While last season set up the shadow organization, IGH, not much has been known about these scientists other than the experiments they performed on kids. Luckily viewers will finally get some answers to their questions on March 8 when Jessica Jones finally returns to Netflix.
