Hero Report Sneak Peek: Arrow brings back a fan favorite this week
Lucifer– “Infernal Guinea Pig”
"When a murder investigation reveals the dark side of Hollywood, Chloe puts her life on the line to protect an innocent victim. Then, Lucifer comes up with a hell-raising scheme to help Cain, but when Amenadiel and Maze get involved, things don’t quite go as planned."
Based on the sneak peek for this week’s episode, it looks like Lucifer and Chloe are going to find themselves in the cross-hairs with a bomb. Desperate to protect an innocent woman, they race against the clock to try and stop the device from going off. Since this show is called Lucifer, it’s pretty safe to assume that the two lead characters make it out alive.
The Flash – “Enter Flashtime”
"JESSE QUICK AND JAY GARRICK TEAM UP WITH THE FLASH — When a nuclear bomb detonates in downtown Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin), Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) and Jay Garrick (guest star John Wesley Shipp) slow down time by entering Flashtime. As everyone in the city is frozen, the three speedsters push themselves to the breaking point to save the city and everyone in it."
“Enter Flashtime,” definitely appears to be one of the bleakest episodes of this season yet based on the focus the trailer puts on a teary-eyed Barry. While the premise is pretty low-stakes knowing that Central City isn’t going to be destroyed by a nuclear bomb, it’s exciting to see the return of Jay Garrick and Jesse Quick.
However, Violett Beane just booked a CBS pilot, so fans of her speedster should be worried that she makes the ultimate sacrifice to help save the world.
