6 can’t miss Netflix originals hitting in April 2018

3% is a Brazilian thriller (Portuguese-language) that debuted as a Netflix original series in November 2016. It took a year-and-a-half to get season 2 for the dystopian thriller, but it finally hits at the end of this month.
The show is a sci-fi series that takes place in the future and has a world that is split between the haves and have-nots. The haves lives in the Offshore, which is a world with progress and a better way of life. The have-nots live on the Inland in poverty. Everyone has a chance to move to the better life at the age of 20, but only 3% of those people make it there.
While the first season looked very low-budget, the characters and setting were immediately addicting, and the episodes were about 45 minutes long each, making it easy to binge the entire first eight-episode season in one sitting.
When it comes to Netflix original series hitting in April 2018, 3% is one that has a lot of promise. The first season ended with a huge shocking twist (we won’t mention it here in case you still need to binge it) and that twist opens some huge ideas that the show can explore in season 2 where viewers will witness the Offshore.
3% season 2 premieres on Netflix on April 27.
