The cast of director Ava DuVernay’s Netflix series Central Park Five continues to expand.

After Central Park Five added Michael K. Williams, Vera Farmiga, and John Leguizamo two weeks ago, Felicity Huffman, Jharrel Jerome, and Jovan Adeppo have now joined the cast of the 4-episode limited run series, according to Deadline.

The series is based on the notorious case of five Harlem teenagers who were wrongfully accused and found guilty of a rape they did not commit. The series will chronicle the teenagers’ ordeal from the first time they were questioned about the crime in 1989 to their release in 2014.

Jerome and Adeppo will portray Korey Wise and Antron McCray, two of the wrongfully accused teenagers. Wise was tried as an adult and served 12 years in prison before his release, while McCray served six years.

In addition to DuVernay, the series will be executive produced by Participant Media’s Jeff Skoll and Jonathan King, Tribeca Productions’ Jane Rosenthal and Berry Welsh, and Oprah Winfrey/Harpo Films. DuVernay will write and direct each of the series’ four episodes.

Huffman is well-known to TV audiences for her long-time starring role on Desperate Housewives, and her Emmy-nominated turns in the ABC anthology series American Crime.

Jerome starred in the Oscar-winning film Moonlight and is a regular on the TV drama series Mr. Mercedes.
