9/09 Kidding – 10:00 PM (Showtime)

Jim Carrey returns to television! Kidding has one of the trippiest trailers for Fall TV, but there’s still a heartwarming undertone to all of the craziness. Carrey’s character Jeff or Mr. Pickles hosts a children’s television show with puppets but has difficulty actually coping with real life. A lot of people like to escape into entertainment or their hobbies to avoid dealing with difficult situations, and Kidding will probably be an interesting take on such. Frank Langella and Catherine Keener costar and confirm the series is bound to be well-done since they’re two of the most esteemed names in the entertainment industry. Judy Greer also stars and hopefully this show recognizes the talent that she is.

10/14 Camping (HBO)

HBO nabs Jennifer Garner in her return to television too, something exciting for anyone who watched Alias growing up. The Camping trailer promises enough mayhem to warrant tuning in and David Tennant has a solid track record when it comes to roles. Garner’s Kathryn is an uptight and controlling wife who tries to plan the perfect camping birthday surprise for her husband (Tennant) but their guests are definitely an odd group.

Ultimately, 2018 has a solid roster of new Fall TV shows to test out. This past year resulted in plenty of upset fans as a lot of favorite shows found themselves on the cutting block. Hopefully, networks replaced those series with some good picks that viewers will find equally enjoyable. Tell us in the comments below what series you’re looking forward to watching and which ones look like duds!
