December at Netflix brings with it a surprising lack of holiday cheer but is still one of the biggest months all year for original releases.

Everything from your new foreign favorites to new holiday traditions is bingeable on Netflix next month.

The Sound of Your Heart: Reboot – December 3

This series is based on South Korea’s longest running and most popular webtoon of the same name.

Created by Cho Seok, the webtoon is a semi-autobiographical series with all the humor and poignancy that comes along with the awkwardness and joy of ordinary life.

Netflix is calling the series a reboot because the webtoon was already produced and aired as a highly successful web-series in Korea.

For fans of K-drama, this is a must.

Dogs of Berlin – December 7

Netflix continues its support of foreign drama with a new series from Germany about a pair of cops who investigate the suspicious death of a well-known soccer player.

However, the general corruption of the Berlin police force, as well as one of the partner’s underworld connections, complicate the investigation.

The show looks stylish, dark, and gritty – everything you’d want in any detective series, but especially something with a name like Dogs of Berlin.

Neo Yokio: Pink Christmas – December 7

If you’re looking for a Christmas special that’s a little off the beaten path, Neo Yokio is plenty different.

The anime, created by Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, mixes the fantastical and mundane when a young demon-slayer finally rebels against his destiny in favor of simple teenage pleasures like love, field hockey, and shopping.

The first season was highly successful, but news of a possible second season remains elusive. In the meantime, Netflix is releasing this surprise Christmas special!

Details of the episode also remain elusive, including the voice cast and whether Jude Law will be reprising his role as robot butler Charles.
