Amazon’s new comedy anthology series, Modern Love, is getting an all-star cast like you wouldn’t believe!

Modern Love is the next comedy series on Amazon’s slate of shows, and we have to say, it’s gearing up to be absolutely epic. This straight-to-series comedy will be a half-hour rom-com that is based on a popular New York Times column, according to Deadline.

So who is part of this fabulous project? You best prepare yourself–because the cast is awesome. Joining the cast is Ocean Eight’s Anne Hathaway, 30 Rock’s Tina Fey, Lion’s Dev Patel, Mad Men’s John Slattery, Get Out’s Catherine Keener, Ozark’s Julia Garner, and Bates Motel’s Olivia Cooke–just to name a few.

This isn’t even everyone, but given the people we mentioned above, rest assured the rest of the cast is just as amazing. John Carney (Begin Again) is set to direct, write, and produce the eight-episode series alongside The New York Times and Storied Media Group.

The premise of Modern Love is to talk about all the facets and faces of love–sexual, romantic, family, and even self-love. Each episode is a standalone episode, and will not be connected to the rest of the season’s episodes.

Shameless’ Emmy Rossum, Divorce’s Sharon Horgan, and Sensation’s Tom Hall who will all be directing episodes of the anthology series! Horgan is directing the Tina Fey/John Slattery episode, Hall is directing the episode he wrote, and Rossum is directing an episode written by the late Audrey Wells (Under The Tuscan Sea).

Carney is extremely excited about the cast that has been gathered for Modern Love and can’t wait to see it all come together (and neither can we!). Check out what he had to say about the series and the cast below:

"“It’s like I woke up in the actor candy store. We’ve managed to assemble a dream cast of my favorite actors. It’s a testament to the reach of the original column and of how, now more than ever, love is the only certainty.”"

Next. The Man in the High Castle casts three recurring roles for season 4. dark

The series is currently in production in New York with no set premiere date (but we hope it’s soon!)
