Game of Thrones season 8 teaser trailer arrives

In what has to be a huge surprise, the first Game of Thrones teaser trailer just hit the Internet.
The new video checks in at about 38 seconds in length (with an additional 16 seconds to advertise HBO’s YouTube page).
The video shows ice sweeping into Westeros, freezing everything in its path and then the fire races in from the other side of the screen, consuming everything in its path. Then, the two forces meet in the middle and the video ends.
At the center of everything is the Painted Table at Drangonstone consumed by the fire and ice. There is no new footage or characters but it does show that something big and destructive is coming.
There is almost assuredly a bloody and epic final season coming in 2019 that will see many characters fall and the possible resolution of who deserves to sit on the Iron Throne.
Could it by Jon? Could it be Daenerys? Could the theory about who the Night King really is actually reveal to be true and a reckoning is coming for all the evil people in the world of Game of Thrones?
All that is known right now is that Game of Thrones will be back sometime in April 2019, so the wait is almost over with. In four months, the final season of the hit HBO fantasy epic will be upon us and the theories and predictions will either come true or fall by the wayside.

There is also the exciting news that the final season of Game of Thrones will have every episode check in at over an hour in length, which pays off the former rumors that each episode would almost be like its own small movie.
HBO plans to send Game of Thrones out in epic fashion, and while the final season will only feature six episodes, it seems that the scale of the series will only grow in stature.
