It’s almost 2019, and a new year brings with it new beginnings and all new shows to look forward to, so to help you plan a new year of bingeing, here are 11 awesome Netflix originals coming in January 2019.

A Series of Unfortunate Events: Season 3 – January 1

I started A Series of Unfortunate Events at the beginning of season two and I thought it was the funniest, most clever, and delightful thing I’d ever seen.

Neil Patrick Harris returns as Count Olaf, along with Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket. Allison Williams joins the cast this season as Kit Snicket, the third Snicket sibling.

I absolutely cannot wait for the third and final season of this Netflix original series in January 2019, to find out what happens to those Baudelaire kids and to learn the secrets behind the VFD.

I actually have never read the books and have no idea how this turns out. How exciting!

When Heroes Fly – January 10

The Israeli thriller When Heroes Fly centers around four friends who are bound together by their lost comrade. As they struggle with trauma from war and loss, it is revealed that their friend may not be dead after all and the group undertake a rescue mission into the Columbian jungle.

Based on the trailer, this series looks dramatic and intense with a surprising mystery attached.

When Heroes Fly won Best Series at the first Cannesseries festival this year and has already been commissioned for a second season as a Netflix original series.
