In a recent interview, stuntman Vladimir Furdik, who plays the Night King, has a lot to say about who he’s coming for during the final season of Game of Thrones.

Have you ever thought about the actor who plays the Night King on Game of Thrones?

Me neither.

But there is a man behind the mask of the Night King, and his name is Vladimir Furdik. And he has a lot to say about his character’s intentions.

During a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Furdik teased that he has one particular target in mind in Season 8. He said,

"“People will see he has a target he wants to kill, and you will find out who that is.”"

Is it safe to assume he’s talking about Jon Snow? He continued by talking about the moment in “Hardhome” where Night King looked at Jon Snow and raised his arms. According to Furdik, there is a moment like that coming — but stronger.

Jon has done enough to piss the guy off. He has been hopping around Westeros warning everyone like Chicken Little that Night King is coming. Plus, he’s had actual run-ins with him beyond the Wall. It’s easy to pin Jon as his focus.

But I’m not so sure.

Now, the Game of Thrones showrunners are insanely secretive and protective over plot points for the show’s final season. So, with Furdik letting some Jon Snow talk slip, I can almost guarantee Jon is not his primary target.

He continued,

"“Somebody made him the Night King. Nobody knows who he was before — a soldier or part of [nobility]. He never wanted to be the Night King. I think he wants revenge. Everybody in this story has two sides — a bad side and a good side. The Night King only has one side, a bad side.”"

It seems as though the Night King might be out for revenge – on whom is the question.

We’ll find out when Game of Thrones returns for its final season April 14.
