This is Us cast and creators tease final two episodes of season 3 at PaleyFest
The This is Us cast and crew participated in a panel at PaleyFest, where they dished on what to expect during the last two episodes of season 3 and beyond.
The cast and creator of This is Us had a lot to say during their PaleyFest this week.
Creator Dan Fogelman, along with stars Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson, Melanie Liburd, and John Huertas, teased season 4 plot lines. Producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, as well as season 3 guest star Phylicia Rashad also joined the panel.
The audience, who filled the Dolby Theater in Hollywood (the same theater that holds the Academy Awards), was treated to tomorrow night’s episode as well as a sneak peek of the season 3 finale, which airs April 2.
E!’s Kristin Dos Santos prodded Fogleman on what fans will see in the finale.
“Everyone dies!” he joked.
Hey now, this isn’t Game of Thrones or Les Miserables!
Kidding aside, he said that we will get answers to a lot of questions and that we won’t want to miss the last five minutes of the episode. As if that was even a question!
Metz told the crowd that the finale made her cry. Yeah, that’s all of us almost every episode!
Fogelman also dropped some information about season 4. He said, “It’s going to be good. The world is gonna expand in an interesting way…we have a plan.”
He went on to say that he already began writing the “ambitious” first episode, and even some content for other episodes. He’s much more excited about the back half (typically after Christmas) than he is about the front half.
I hope that doesn’t mean it will be a boring season.
This is Us airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. on NBC. Catch up on past shows with our recaps.
