Lucifer promo teases season 4 on Netflix

Netflix has released a new promotional clip for Lucifer’s upcoming fourth season, its first on the streaming service.

The promo features Lucifer leads Lauren German, who plays Chloe Decker, and Tom Ellis, who plays the title character, as well as Inbar Lavi who is joining the series’ cast as Eve. In the clip, the stars thank the fans for saving their show, which was canceled by Fox at the end of its third season.

Each actor exemplifies their character. Lavi fawns over Lucifer, the snake that got her Eve kicked out of the Garden of Eden.  Meanwhile, Decker polices for potential spoilers. And, of course, Ellis is devilishly charming as he shows just how comfortable he is at Netflix. He lounges in his Netflix-branded robe and sips from a Netflix-branded coffee mug.

Ellis has teased that the switch to Netflix has opened up the possibility of the show going places that it couldn’t on Fox. That includes showcasing parts of his anatomy that wouldn’t be shown on a broadcast network. The promo teases that possibility further. It ends with Ellis walking away from the camera as he takes off his robe.

Check out the clip below:

The promo is short on details about the new season, but for fans of the show, it’s still good to see the Lucifer actors back in action and getting settled in at Netflix. While the show isn’t likely to change much from the version seen on Fox, the freedom to be a little racier would be organic to the series. So, the move to Netflix could be exciting for fans for that reason.
