Where he/she is at the end of season 7: On the boat headed north to White Harbor with Jon and Dany.
Season 8 bold prediction: Since Ser Davos isn’t a trained fighter, I don’t know how prepared he is for these battles, but I also don’t see him sitting in the crypts with the women and children. I don’t want to see him go, but I don’t think he survives.

Where he/she is at the end of season 7: While he pretends to abandon them at the wight reveal, Cersei tells Jaime that he’s actually sailing to Essos to recruit the Golden Company, the largest and most skilled sellsword company in the world, to fight for her.
Season 8 bold prediction: He’s toast. No chance he survives this season. Yeah, he brings the Golden Company, but I can see them killing him because he’s so annoying.
