The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 trailer promises vengeful June

Oh, blessed be, The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 trailer is here!
The Handmaid’s Tale is back in just about a month, folks! Blessed be the fruit, under his eye, all of that and more is returning for season 3 on June 5th–and I can’t wait! While the previous two seasons have shown us a weaker version of Elisabeth Moss’ June/Offred, this season promises to shake things the eff up.
After sending off her child to safety with Emily, and staying behind in Gilead in the season 2 finale, June is ready to take down the man, or rather men of Gilead. No longer will she remain oppressed by the misogynistic values of this world, and if you’ve watched the trailer below, you know she means business.
But, in a world where she has no rights and no respect, how will June pull off the impossible? First things first, she needs people on her side. Despite their tumultuous relationship, there is some sort of friendship between Serena and June which I’m certain will be the cause for joining forces on this season of The Handmaid’s Tale.
The best part of the trailer comes when June says Serena has “influence”, and when she replies back, “to a point”, June urges for her to “move the point”. Mic drop. June really isn’t messing around this season, is she? At this rate, she might take down Gilead after all.
During the trailer, we get glimpses of Aunt Lydia, Emily, Commander Lawrence, and Nick who all have a story of their own this season. I’m just here for the Nick/June ship, that needs to happen this season, once and for all. However, from the looks of it, June is a woman on a mission, so there may be no time for love and all that jazz. After all, “Mom’s got work.”
The Handmaid’s Tale season 3 premieres on June 5th on Hulu!
