Amazon Prime’s The Boys has been a big hit, and season 2 will see the addition of Timeless stars Goran Visnjic & Claudia Doumit.

According to Deadline, Goran Višnjić & Claudia Doumit will be featured in season 2 of Amazon Prime’s “The Boys” as recurring characters. Višnjić will play Alistair Adana, a church leader, while Doumit will play politician Victoria Neuman.  If you don’t know who these two actors are, we’ll give a basic rundown. A Croatian actor, Goran Višnjić has appeared in TV series like ER (1999–2009), Timeless (2016–2018), Extant (2014) and Santa Clarita Diet (2019).

His film appearances include Elektra (2005), The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) and Practical Magic (1998).  He won several Orlando Awards for playing Shakespeare’s Hamlet, from 1994 to 2000. Interestingly, he also appeared in a mini-series called The Deep, which is the moniker of a twisted superhero character from The Boys.

Claudia Doumit is also known for Timeless, but recently appeared in the film, Where’d You Go, Bernadette (2019). She’s also been in Dude (2018), Anything (2017) and Losing in Love (2016). She also voices the character Farrah Karim in the upcoming video game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. As her bio at NBC notes, “Doumit was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. She is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) and the Stella Adler Academy of Acting and Theatre in Los Angeles.”  Visnjic and Doumit will be joining Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Chace Crawford, and Elizabeth Shue and Erin Moriarty.

It’s no coincidence the Visnjic and Doumit are on The Boys. Its co-creator, Eric Kripke, was also a co-creator of Timeless. Obviously, there is some chemistry between Kripke and these two actors. Similarly, The Boys producers Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogan also produced Garth Ennis’s Preacher, making The Boys part of an ongoing collaboration. We don’t yet know exactly what will occur in season two, but it will surely be an epic (and odd) story — if season one’s any indication.
