Worst: Awkward!
There’s nothing more awkward than having Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner present an award for reality television and claim that their show Keeping Up with the Kardashians is “real” and “unscripted.” The only thing that was real in that vicinity was when the audience openly laughed and mocked them. You may be able to fool the public, but not the industry.

Best: Tribute to T.V. greats
Presenter Ben Stiller talked about comedy legends, walking by wax figures of George Burns, Lucille Ball, and… Bob Newhart? Isn’t he still alive? Oh, he’s alive and as feisty as ever! I laughed out loud when he began to move, startling Stiller. It was also nice to see the audience pay homage to Norman Lear when he presented with Marisa Tomei. Not one butt was in a chair, as it shouldn’t be. Kids, if you don’t know who these people are, Google them.

Worst: In Memorium tribute
Maybe I’m showing my age, what is the hype around Halsey? Her voice is not good. She does everything my singing teacher told me not to do. Plus, her dress was insanely inappropriate for a tribute to those who have passed. Just because it’s black, it doesn’t mean it fits. Bad taste and bad singing, they deserved better.

Best dressed: Zendaya
Nothing or no one on that red carpet, in that theater, in California, or on the planet was hotter than Zendaya in that emerald green Vera Wang dress. She should win an Emmy just for that look. Honorable mention goes to Mandy Moore, Susan Kelechi Watson, Taraji P. Henson, and Marisa Tomei for looking gorgeous in their red and pink dresses in various styles.

Worst dressed: Gwendoline Christie
I need better, Gucci. If she was going for a statue of a seventieth-century pope that got stuck out in the rain, then it worked. I still love you, though! Honorable mention to Kendall Jenner for reaffirming the fact that you still can’t put a flowered dress over a leather dress and call it one dress… or fashion.
