Jesse Williams set for recurring role on Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere

Grey’s Anatomy alum Jesse Williams is booked for a recurring role opposite Reese Witherspoon on Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere.
Grey’s Anatomy star Jesse Williams has booked a recurring role on one of Hulu’s most anticipated upcoming series.
Called Little Fires Everywhere, the show will be based on the bestselling book by Celeste Ng. According to Deadline, Williams will have a recurring role opposite show stars Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Rosemarie DeWitt, and Joshua Jackson.
Williams will play the role of Joe Ryan, a wealthy Wall Street worker who has had a hard time conceiving over the years. Desperate to start a family, Ryan and his wife, Madeline, turn to an unexpected and unlikely source to solve their conception problems.

Little Fires Everywhere is being written and developed by Liz Tigelaar of Casual, and will be the production of Hello Sunshine and Simpson Street, and will be filmed at ABC Signature Studios. The series will follow the Richardson family, a picture-perfect clan that gets weighed down with secrets and learning the hard way that following the rules doesn’t always lead to success.
Washington and Williams will serve as the stars of the series, with Tigeaar taking on the role of showrunner and executive producer. Williams is well-known for his role as Dr. Jackson Avery on the legacy ABC drama Grey’s Anatomy and in addition to the Hulu series, Willams was also seen on the big screen, recently starting in Random Acts of Violence and Jacob’s Ladder.
In addition to Little Fires Everywhere, Williams will hit Broadway to star in the upcoming revival of Take Me Out, the Tony Award-winning play written by Richard Greenberg.
