HBO Max’s Made For Love adds Dan Bakkedahl & Augusto Aguilera
Made For Love finds two more cast members!
HBO Max’s upcoming series, Made For Love, has made more additions to its cast. Deadline reports Dan Bakkedahl and Augusto Aguilera have joined the show alongside Cristin Milioti, Ray Romano, Billy Magnussen, and Noma Dumezweni.
The series is based on a novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting. HBO Max has ordered a ten-episode season which consists of half-hour episodes following Hazel Green (Milioti) as she escapes her marriage. Byron (Magnussen), her husband, is described as “unstable, needy, possibly sociopathic,” who kept his wife suffocated throughout their ten-year relationship. However, he’s a billionaire and the CEO of a major tech company which is bound to be a problem for Hazel as she is on the run.
Especially when Hazel discovers she’s been implanted her brain with the monitoring device, called Made For Love. If she didn’t already find her relationship suffocating, it can’t get any worse than realizing her husband can “track her, watch her, and know her thoughts and feelings”.
Dan Bakkedahl is set to play the character, Herringbone. He’s Byron’s company’s head of security but has a deep unrequited love for Hazel. When he’s tasked to find her, his loyalty will be tested regarding who’s side he ends up taking.
Meanwhile, Augusto Aguilera will take on the role of Liver. He’s a bartender in Hazel’s hometown and she quickly finds herself attracted to him. We can’t imagine Byron will be all too fond of his character.
