Netflix has launched a companion podcast alongside The Crown season 3.

On the heels of the season 3 debut yesterday, Netflix announced that The Crown will get a podcast. Deadline reports that the podcast will go further into the series and the storyline as well as what happens behind the scenes.

Edith Bowman, a British presenter, hosts the podcast which is called The Crown: The Official Podcast. However, many notable names and faces will appear on the show to discuss the series. One of these important members of the show is series creator, Peter Morgan, who is in the first episode. Casting directors, Nina Gold and Robert Sterne, are also set to appear in the podcast where they discuss what it’s like trading out cast members.

Meanwhile, Morgan is the one who touches on that topic during the first episode. He makes interesting points about how he couldn’t ask someone in their twenties or thirties to play someone in their fifties but with prosthetics because they don’t have the same life experience. Of course, it’s no easy feat to find another perfect cast after Claire Foy and Matt Smith were beloved in the first two seasons. However, Morgan has faith in Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies stepping into the roles of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
