Succession season 3 is already in the works!

The writer and executive producer of Succession, Lucy Prebble, revealed the series has already begun figuring out the storyline for season 3. Deadline reports Prebble spoke about how the show will address the bombshell finale.

Spoiler Warning: Season 2 of Succession will be discussed below!

The biggest thing the series needs to figure out what the fallout will be from Kendall reveal and how that will affect his relationship with his father. After he sold out his dad to save himself, there’s bound to be some more family drama to ensue. However, as some fans have pointed out, it almost looks like Logan is proud of his son for finally taking charge.

"“You want the emotional aspect of it to be true but not too parallel to what’s happening today. There are a lot of conversations about what the season two ending means for that particular relationship [Logan and Kendall Roy].”"

Lucy Prebble was just awarded the 2019 Wellcome Screenwriting Fellowship, an extremely well-known and prestigious screenwriting bursary from the Wellcome Trust. The Fellowship gives $39,000 to the writer who is awarded it. The money is meant to be used to find how screenwriting and health and science have similarities. Prebble will also receive access to some incredible research involving humanities and science.

She spoke a bit to Deadline about how excited she is to start her own research. Prebble plans to work on a horror film, and this will allow her to put a focus on biology and other integral studies for the movie. According to Prebble, it will be partially inspired by An American Werewolf in London, and she plans to explore the “metamorphasis of a woman’s body” naturally throughout her life.
