4. Charmed (The CW)

Oh, look, another CW show that deserves the cancellation ax.

It’s safe to say that the reboot of Charmed — one of the original WB/CW shows that actually garnered respectable ratings — has been an unholy rating disaster, even despite some generally positive critical reviews.

Both Charmed and Nancy Drew each draw 0.20 rating in the 18-49 bracket, and just like Drew, this is the same audience Charmed is trying to target. Whereas Drew is in its first season, Charmed is drawing pitiful numbers in its second season, which begs the question — how on Earth is The CW still keeping this show on the air?

Hardly anyone is watching it and the second season hasn’t nearly matched up to the intriguing first season. One of the major reasons why Charmed is still airing is because the entire network’s primetime lineup is a rating blackhole, and with Supernatural and Arrow both ending after this season, one show, any show will need to step up and fill the void.

That’s why Charmed is still here, but it needs to cast a spell and attract some new viewers or prepare to go into the spirit world, never to return.
