2. Perfect Harmony

We’re down to the final two shows, and these are the most likely to be canceled by the end of the fall season.

This has been a tough season for freshmen shows, as these programs have not been able to really catch a break from the more seasoned shows on the schedule. Some have already been shown the door, while others are biding their time, waiting for the pink slip to arrive in the mail.

This is where NBC’s Perfect Harmony is currently sitting in.

Perfect Harmony is NBC’s stab at a musical comedy, and as one pretty much expected, the tune for this series has mostly been flat. It has yet to find a stable audience and the 0.45 rating among 18-49 has been nearly a death sentence for this new show.

NBC had high hopes for the comedy, but as we have learned time-and-time again, hope doesn’t always translate into success, and we have another example of this in Perfect Harmony. To be fair, NBC is giving this program ever a reason to try to pull itself out of the rating funk, but we just don’t see it happening anytime soon.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Perfect Harmony is shown the door right after the New Year.
