15. Almost Family (FOX)

Almost Family was supposed to be FOX’s go-to family show.

Instead, it’s looking more and more like a show that’s slogging toward a one-and-done first season, if it even makes it that far.

The series, based on the Australian comedy Sisters, has been weighed down by bad reviews and bad ratings. It has a 24 fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes, a 6/1- on IMDB, and a rating average of 0.70, and this is with having The Masked Singer, FOX’s top-rated program, as its lead-in.

Some may have thought that Bless the Harts would be an early candidate to meet the cancellation ax, but FOX shocked everyone by quickly renewing it for a second season. That left Almost Family as the likely candidate to be shown the door at season’s end.

Their 0.70 rating is the lowest on Fox’s primetime schedule and combined with the aforementioned bad reviews, I’m pretty shocked that FOX has kept the series on the air this long.

I guess we should kiss Almost Family goodbye.
