14. Fresh Off the Boat (ABC)

This show is already gone after the season, and in all honesty, we should have all saw this one coming.

While it had a strong start, the series has stumbled in recent seasons, losing some of its charms as the kids have now grown up. While it continued to get critically favorable reviews, it’s ratings have slumped to a 0.45 and has not really recovered.

There’s a reason why — Friday nights.

Historically, whenever a show is shunted to Friday nights, that gives a pretty good indicator that said the show is on its last legs; and, if we’re being completely honest here, I don’t think ABC really truly gave Fresh Off the Boat the same chance to really thrive as, say, Modern Family and The Goldbergs.

Fresh Off the Boat always seemed like an afterthought for the network despite consistently strong reviews and good ratings early on; and to be honest, we’re a bit surprised that the show has managed to stay on the air as long as it did.

Now that it’s canceled, Fresh Off the Boat can go on to syndication heaven, where it was always destined to be.
