Check out the first teaser for Hulu’s High Fidelity!

The Zoë Kravitz show, High Fidelity, has officially gotten its first teaser! Hulu’s upcoming comedy series is bound to be a hit based on the video, which promises and thought-provoking but entertaining time. The ten-episode series was announced about a year and a half ago in April 2018.

Hulu’s version is actually a remake of a 1995 novel and a John Cusack film from 2000. The story is about Rob (played by Kravitz), a record store owner in Brooklyn, who is trying to get over a massive heartbreak. According to the synopsis, it sounds like the series will explore some current issues like gentrification, while also exploring Rob’s life through music.

The series has been through a bit of a rework before finally landing at Hulu. Originally, High Fidelity was meant to stream on Disney+ with a more PG-13 feel. However, as development continued, Disney ultimately decided to move the series over to Hulu where it would have a little more freedom to tell stories that resonated with an older audience.

Other than Kravitz, the cast includes: Da’Vine Joy Randolph (famous for her role on Broadway’s Ghost the Musical), Jake Lacy (The Office and Better With You), Kingsley Ben-Adir (Noelle and The OA) and David H. Holmes (Mindhunter).
