Twilight Zone: CBS All Access announces season 2 cast

A new cast of faces is ready to go into the Twilight Zone.

CBS All Access has officially announced the first round of names set to join season 2 of the anthology series. Deadline reports the streaming service revealed the exciting news at their TCA panel this year as fans desperately wait for more Twilight Zone news.

On top of the new cast, CBS also disclosed that Jordan Peele will also pen an episode this season. Peele, known for his hit films Get Out and Us, already serves as an executive producer and narrator on the revival.

The actors cast so far are: Billy Porter (Pose), Morena Baccarin (Gotham), Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg), Christopher Meloni (Law & Order: SVU), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Colman Domingo (Fear the Walking Dead), Tony Hale (Veep), Ethan Embry (Sneaky Pete), Abbie Hern, Joel McHale (Community), Sophia Macy, Daniel Sunjata (Rescue Me), Tavi Gevinson and Jimmi Simpson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia).

The episode Peele is set to write will be named “Downtime” and will feature Baccarin, Hale, and Domingo but it is unclear what it will be about or who the actors will be playing. Porter, Embry, and Sunjata will be in “The Who of You” written by Win Rosenfeld. “A Human Face”, which is written by Alex Rubens, will star Elfman, Gevinson, and Meloni. Heather Anne Campbell is set to pen “Among the Untrodden” featuring Abbie Hern and Sophia Macy while “8” will be scripted by Glen Morgan and star McHale. Finally, Emily C. Chang and Sara Amini are teaming up to write “Meet in the Middle” which will have Simpson and Jacobs in it.
