Kevin Can F*** Himself: Annie Murphy set to star in AMC series
Annie Murphy gets her next leading role with Kevin Can F*** Himself.
Schitt’s Creek might be ending but Alexis Rose won’t be off your screen for too long. Deadline reports Annie Murphy has tapped to star in the upcoming AMC comedy series, Kevin Can F*** Himself.
The series is supposed to revolve around a “sitcom wife” as she tries to take control of her own life. Kevin Can F*** Himself, will apparently utilize both a “single-camera realism” and a “multi-camera format” as a way to try and best capture the world that this sitcom wife views as well as her desire to escape.
Annie Murphy, who has become infamous for her beloved role on Schitt’s Creek as Alexis Rose, is set to play Kevin’s wife, Allison. Currently, there is no one set to play Kevin, however, it sounds like Allison will have a view issues with her husband based on the title of the series.
Kevin Can F*** Himself will be executive produced by Valerie Armstrong, who is also the creator. Rashida Jones, Will McCormack, Craig DiGregorio, and AMC Studios are also set to serve as executive producers on the project. DiGregorio will be pulling double duty like Armstrong and will serve as the showrunner for the first season.
There is currently no planned premiere date for the upcoming series.
