March is filled with returning favorites, genre treats, and international dramas as Netflix releases its line up of exciting originals to add to your binge list.

As winter is ending and spring is right around the corner, Netflix is celebrating with a handful of returning images. Check out the list of series premiering in March!

Castlevania: Season 3 – March 5

It’s unlikely you haven’t heard of Castlevania, but you might not know what it is. It started life as a video game in 1986 that went on to have several very successful sequels and related comic books. It’s a pretty iconic title, so suffice to say the Netflix series was both highly anticipated and deeply scrutinized. The history of video game adaptations has not exactly been stellar, but Castlevania broke the mold with its hauntingly beautiful and atmospheric animation, talented voice cast, and pitch-perfect storytelling.

The series tells the story of some vampire hunters and their mission to kill Dracula, although the Count was defeated at the end of season two. Richard Armitage returns as head vampire hunter Trevor Belmont, along with Graham McTavish as Dracula, Alejandra Reynoso as Sypha, James Callis as Alucard, and Ade M’Cormack as Isaac. Showrunner Adi Shankar says that Castlevania is a multi-year plan in the making, so if all goes well there will be much more Castlevania to come.
