She moves in with the Diaz family and becomes best friends with Marco Diaz. Together, she and Marco work together to battle villains at high school and back in her home of Mewni. Over time, their adventure becomes increasingly complicated as the legends and lore of Star’s universe are slowly revealed.

It is a fantastic show with a surprising amount of adult humor and complicated storylines. You might be surprised how invested you get in the series. If you’ve seen Gravity Falls, it has a lot of similarities in art style, storytelling, and comedy.

3. Marvel Avengers Assemble

For anyone who loves the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you should consider giving the Marvel cartoons a try. The majority of them are available to watch on Disney Plus. Avengers Assemble is a great place to start, especially if you’re already familiar with the characters from the films. It will give you a fun way to reconnect with those characters in a slightly more funny and carefree way.

The show will feel familiar to you because it was created as a follow-up to the 2012 movie, although the storylines differ. It’s still a fun show that should satisfy your superhero craving and keep your kids entertained.
