2. The Proud Family

The Proud Family is considered a classic Disney Channel show that many people have fond memories of, and it still has a devoted fan following. Many people who are parents now may have grown up watching this cartoon.

Even better news, Disney is planning on making more episodes of The Proud Family. The show follows Penny Proud as she grows up living in a crazy family, including her grandma — Sugar Mama, and her parents, Trudy and Oscar.

There are a lot of adult jokes on this series you may not have caught when you were a kid; it might be fun to rewatch it now and see what you missed.

1. Gravity Falls

I may be a little bias about this choice because Gravity Falls is one of my favorite TV shows of all time, but that should tell you how fantastic it is and about its universal appeal. I watched it for the first time in my twenties, so it is definitely not a show made solely for kids, although they will love it too.

There are only two seasons (sadly) so it won’t take too long to watch but the series creator had a story in mind and he wanted to tell it without going on overboard. Therefore, the series is full of fun easter eggs, in-jokes, fantastic jokes, and more. it definitely holds up for multiple viewings as it is a serialized story and once you get the end it is fun to go back and see all the clues and foreshadowing you may have missed!

It centers around two siblings, Dipper and Mabel Pines, who go to visit their uncle in Gravity Falls for one summer. While there, they encounter all kinds of strange and magical phenomena in the area that will have to be seen to be believed.
