Netflix has shared first-look photos and more plot details for Steve Carell’s upcoming Trump-era space satire titled Space Force.

Netflix might be losing The Office soon, but the streaming service doesn’t plan on forgoing all Steve Carrell content. The actor will lead the star-studded cast of upcoming space satire Space Force.

Carell plays aspiring Air Force pilot, Mark R. Naird. Mark is a skilled pilot who always wanted to be part of the Air Force. Instead, he gets placed in charge of a newly-formed branch of the U.S. Armed Forces known as the Space Force.

Despite his misgivings about his new assignment, Mark is determined to fulfill his duties to the letter. He and his colorful assortment of teammates and scientists migrate to a remote base in Colorado. From there, they receive instructions directly from the White House to get men on the moon and seek “total space domination.”

Carell not only stars, but he is also serving as a co-creator alongside Greg Daniels — who also worked on The Office. As Polygon mentions, the series is a “workplace comedy first,” so fans should anticipate seeing familiar jokes and “hijinks” rather than dramatic plotlines.

Aside from Carell, Space Force also stars Diana Silvers, Jimmy O. Yang, Lisa Kudrow, Noah Emmerich, Ben Schwartz, Tawny Newsome, Alex Sparrow, Don Lake, and John Malkovich.

Netflix has yet to release an official trailer. Since the series isn’t releasing until the end of May, I imagine that we’ll get one within the next few weeks. In the meantime, Netflix has released multiple first-look photos so fans can get a peek at the cast in their roles.

The following images show Carell, Malkovich, Emmerich, Yang, Silvers, and more in their respective roles.
