Into the Night is an apocalyptic sci-fi drama thriller based on the Polish sci-fi novel titled The Old Axolotl written by Jacek Dukaj.

The story beings with a devastating solar event with the sun killing everything in its path. One group of passengers aboard a plane to Brussels happen to make into the night, avoiding the sun. The travelers are an eclectic bunch of people from different races, genders, and socioeconomic class. Together they will have to learn how to survive the sun.
