Final Thoughts

Unfortunately for Annalise, the light at the end of the tunnel is always the train coming to run her over. She was all set to do everything Hannah asked, except, we learn that Hannah was found dead, killed by her own hand apparently.

Or was it someone else? Annalise is certain its Governor Birkhead, but Bonnie believes it may have been Frank because she apparently revealed his origins in an effort to erase any secrets between them.

With only one episode left in the entire series, I’m hoping Annalise walks away with a win. She deserves it. Everyone on How to Get Away with Murder is really rotten to her; yes, she can be self-centered and manipulative, but that doesn’t necessarily make her a bad person.

Annalise is often generous to a fault and is one of the few main characters who didn’t directly cause someone’s death. She’s more innocent than all the people accusing her.

I’m curious if the showrunners will lean into Teagan’s latent feelings for Annalise. They’ve had great chemistry, and Teagan’s gone out on a limb for Annalise. In this episode, Teagan confesses to feeling alive with Annalise around. Is that code for something else? I’m rooting for them as an endgame pairing, romantic or otherwise.

There’s one question that we still need answering – what’s the deal with Annalise’s funeral? We glimpsed it in the mid-season finale, where Wes Gibbins appeared.

We haven’t gone back to that moment. Is that a funeral in the future, but how is Wes alive? Considering Annalise joked that the prosecution could have dragged Asher from his grave, one wouldn’t be surprised if someone did so with Wes.
