4. Queer Eye (Season 5) – June 5

We could all use a cheerful reality show right now, and Queer Eye is the perfect way to brighten your mood. The fifth season will see the Fab Five move from its original New York setting to visit people and places near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, according to Deadline.

The gang will meet and form meaningful relationships with many men and women from the area with differing beliefs from their own. As per usual, the series will touch on important topics relating to social commentary and LGBTQ+ rights.

It is no surprise the series is returning for a fifth season and has already been renewed for a sixth since being revived the show has won seven Emmy Awards.

3. The Woods (Season 1) – June 12

The Woods is sure to be a captivating new thriller, so if you’re a fan of foreign crime shows, get ready for another winner. The series is set in two different times, 1994 and 2019. it tells the story of a Warsaw prosecutor named Pawel Kopiński, who is still reeling from the loss of his sister 25 years earlier.

One night at summer camp, she disappeared into the woods and was never seen or heard from again. But then a boy who vanished around the same time as Pawel’s sister is discovered and new evidence surfaces that could be linked to his missing sibling.

Pawel begins to have hope once more than he could find his lost sister, but he may uncover some dark and sinister secrets along the way.

The six-episode crime drama is from Harlan Coben, who also wrote the book that inspired Netflix’s recent hit, The Stranger.

Bustle reported director Leszek Dawid saying: “’The Woods’ is a story full of secrets – a story you will want to follow. Try as hard as you might to bury unresolved issues from the past, but one day they will find their way back to you anyway.”
