2. Best anime on Netflix: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is often regarded as the best anime of all time and rightfully so. The show follows the journey of Elric brothers in search of the Philosopher’s Stone, in hopes to restore their bodies, which were lost in an experiment gone wrong when they tried to use their alchemy skills to resurrect their late mother.

Fullmetal just about has everything, the show deals with death, grief, war, politics, racism with a refreshing set of eyes and perspective. Every character who is introduced to the forefront is intricately multi-layered and has their own conflicting ideologies and motivations. The pacing could not have been better. the show perfectly blends gorgeous action sequences with funny light-hearted humor alongside some really dark and emotional moments.

To simply put, the show will send chills down your spine, will have you rolling on the floor but will also make you cry like a baby.

The way the show portrays human nature and deals with it while subverting all sorts of cliches way ahead of its time is why the series continues to be a pillar among all of the anime even now. Also every single one of the openings for this show is just beautiful. It’s been like four years since I watched the show and I still often jam to those songs.

1. Best anime on Netflix: Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan is one of those animes that actually made anime mainstream. Back when the show came out in 2013, it was a huge cultural phenomenon, everybody even people who have never seen an anime were watching the show, now 59 episodes, and 7 years later as the series is soon about to start airing its final season.

I’d frankly say it is quite underrated, I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s still probably like the most-watched anime all around the world maybe alongside Demon Slayer but this show has reached its peak and has gotten just beyond amazing and peaked every level of epicness there is.

Attack on Titan is every bit of a masterpiece as Game of Thrones during its peak.

What started out as an anime about a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is fighting cannibalistic giants known as Titans with their extremely cool fighting gear has turned into possibly the most beautiful, humane and realistic anime of recent times all while maintaining the same level of intrigue, violence, jaw-drops, even more, fabulous action sequences, gorgeous visuals, and some of the best most interestingly layered characters of the modern age.

Attack on Titan is not just the best anime on Netflix, but after seeing Season 3 Part 2, I can safely say that it is the best show I have ever seen.

Also Levi is the GOAT and you all are not ready for the final season.
