Summer TV shows: Adventure Time: Distant Lands

While the official Adventure Time series has completed, HBO Max will be airing four specials by creator Pendleton Ward beginning on June 25. The first episode will see BMO travel to space while additional episodes will feature Princess Bubblegum and Marceline meditating on their relationship.

Another episode will follow Peppermint Butler and the final episode will see Finn and Jake reunite. It sounds like many of the other popular characters from the show will also be present in the specials which should be good news for any fans. The series is also available to watch on HBO Max now.

Summer TV shows: The Twilight Zone

The second season of Jordan Peele’s Twilight Zone reboot will premiere on CBS All Access on June 25. Unlike the first season, all ten episodes of The Twilight Zone are set to drop at once on the streaming service.

As Show Snob previously reported, the cast for the second season has been announced and there are plenty of familiar faces stopping by for the sci-fi anthology series, including Jenna Elfman, Tony Hale, Topher Grace, Chris Meloni, Jurnee Smollett, Daniel Sunjata, and more. It’s not yet clear what topics might be covered in the new season but we can’t wait to find out!
