Summer TV shows: Hanna
The second season of Amazon Prime’s hit action series Hanna will return for its second season this summer. A new trailer for the season has been released. It looks like Season 2 of the series is likely going to focus on Hanna’s “sisters,” and the other trainees from the program who have abilities like Hanna.
Marissa’s fate was also left up in the air at the end of season one and will likely be revealed at some point during the sophomore season. The new season will officially debut on Amazon Prime Video on July 3.
Summer TV shows: The Umbrella Academy
We’re still a bit far away from Season 2 of The Umbrella Academy, which won’t air until July 31 on Netflix. We recently received a cast announcement video but do not yet have an official trailer for the new season. The series is based on the Dark Horse Comics series of the same name that was initially created by Gerard Way.
The show is about a group of 43 infants that were born on the same day by women who showed no pregnancy signs before that. Seven of them are adopted by a billionaire and they become an unorthodox family. Each one has strange abilities and diverse personalities. The superhero drama was a big hit for the streaming service, we should receive a new trailer sometime in the next few weeks.
