Harley Quinn and the girls head to Themyscira for Ivy’s bachelorette party!

Harley Quinn Season 2’s “Bachelorette” takes us to Wonder Woman and the other Amazons’ home, Themyscira. But, Wonder Woman is absent and something just doesn’t seem right. While they’re celebrating Ivy’s soon-to-be marriage to Kiteman, the girls are still trying to deal with their kiss. Over at Kiteman’s bachelor party, King Shark is summoned back home where he’s been arranged to marry Tabatha.

What happened in Harley Quinn Season 2’s “Bachelorette?”

Harley Quinn is in charge of Poison Ivy’s bachelorette party and she’s making sure that it’s a night to remember. With Mrs. Freeze, Catwoman, and Jennifer from Michigan at their side, the gang head out to Themyscira, the Amazons’ secret island. Upon arriving, the girls are greeted by Eris who welcomes them to the island-turned-spa-resort and raves about Themyscira’s boomin’ economy. We’re also shown Queen Hippolyta who’s not acting quite like herself.

Poison Ivy questions Harley, as the clown princess put a lot of thought into planning the trip which is definitely unlike her; of course, Harley claims everything is fine. But once Ivy walks away, Catwoman calls Harley out for the two hooking up. Instead of continuing to deny it, Harley attempts to use Catwoman as a confidant.

Back at Kite Man’s bachelor party, King Shark is summoned by a talking lobster to go see his father. King Shark shares with the other party-goers that he doesn’t want the arranged marriage his father is forcing on him and is going underwater to tell his father off once and for all. While trekking his way to his father’s kingdom, the lobster breaks out into song which ends with King Shark announcing that he’ll consider marrying Tabatha if that will stop the two families from warring. However, King Shark soon learns that Tabatha doesn’t want to marry him either.

Meanwhile, after Harley Quinn yells at the girls to have a good time for Ivy’s sake, the party starts to get wild. So wild, that after having a meaningful conversation about Harley going the extra mile for Ivy, the two wake up next to each other and Ivy is once again telling Harley that they shouldn’t have done this. With so much guilt on her back, Ivy attempts to leave the island but is told that there’s no way off due to the invisible planes currently picking up investors.

Harley finally announces what’s really going on: Eris is an enemy of Themiscyra and has possessed the queen. Her plan is to sell the island to Lex Luthor so that he can put on an upscale lifestyle and music festival. Harley shares that she’s been scoping out the area for a while, but wanted to enjoy the resort before killing Eris and saving the beautiful island along with its natural resources.

Back under the sea, King Shark is standing up to his father and telling him that he’ll marry once he falls in love. However, this just isn’t working out for his father who tells him that “no shark of mine will marry for love…” and “if you leave my kingdom again, you can never return.” Although it seems that King Shark is going to stick to his guns, he ends up getting married because he just can’t say no to his father. Tabatha and King Shark agree that the two can still have other relationships.

Harley and the girls arrive on the scene, right before Eris is able to get Queen Hippolyta to sign her island over. Their battle-victory, with the help of Jennifer from Michigan who was very upset about the resort not having bottomless mimosas, earned them a rager. One that, again, leads Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn to hook up.

Before letting Ivy leave in regret, Harley questions why they can’t be together and tells Ivy to at least think about it. Unfortunately, Ivy does take time to consider their relationship only to let Harley down. Ivy might trust her best friend, but she doesn’t trust her with her heart. Ivy leaves a heartbroken Harley behind, confirming that she will be marrying Kite Man.
