Stateless Season 1: Will the camp be too much for Cam and Clare?

In the last episode of the Netflix series Stateless, we left off with Clare seeing more about the immigration camp on the news. Will this be Clare’s breaking point?

We begin seeing Clare running along the beach. She is trying to get her thoughts together for a conversation she wants to have with the media about the immigration camp.

Meanwhile, at the camp, the officers are ripping apart the camp to look for the camera that leaked the images.

Cam is not enjoying looking through the people’s belongings. Cam and his friend talk about what happened with the other guard, Harriet, and they are debating speaking up.

One of the officers finds the camera on the men’s side of the camp. Now they have to figure out which man it belongs to.

Clare demands a list of people in the camp and the people that have come to visit them.

Harriet is still defending what she did to the other officers. We aren’t having any of it. Brian confronts Harriet and the other two men involved, including Cam.

Where they took the man was off-camera and is now going to be thoroughly investigated. Harriet turns to Cam and other guards and asks them to stick together. We hope Cam does the right thing.

Clare looks at the footage from the camp. She notices something and goes to talk to another case officer.

This other case officer tells her that Ameer’s older daughter, Mina, was with a foster family and was given the opportunity to stay with them or her father. Mina chose her father. Clare asks if they will both get visas to which she replies that she does not know.

Ameer is currently being sedated because of how upset he got after hearing about his wife and daughter. Mina is in the cafeteria and tries to bring food to him, but she isn’t allowed to take it out of the room.

Sofie hears her and goes to sit with her. She gives Mina food to put in her pocket. Sofie then creates a distraction so Mina can get out.

We then see Sofie in an interview room. She is called out for stealing an identity. He says that Sofie will be stuck in the camp until she tells him who she really is. Sofie doubles down that she is Eva.

Mina is trying to give Ameer food, but people come in to give him more medication. Cam is with the nurse and sees the food. He simply tells Mina to make sure no one else sees it.

Sofie is getting restless inside the camp and begins to pace around the perimeter. She is offered a cigarette by someone on the men’s side. He says that on Sunday there will be a protest.

He says that the press will want to talk to Sofie because of the way she looks. He asks her to be the face and voice for the rest of them. She declines and he realizes she must be running from someone.

We are then back at GOPA. Margot has gone to Pat and Gordon Masters to see what happened because Sofie is missing.

Gordon says that she just left one day, which we know is not what actually happened. Gordon tries to pull Margot in, but she rips her hand away and leaves.

Cam returns home to see his wife and kids. It was Cam’s wife that got the camera into the camp. She used a nun to get it inside. Who is going to check a nun? Cam didn’t.

Clare then sees her neighbor again and tells him that she will find his source.

Mina is with her father and a man comes to the door saying Farid sent him. He is a chemist. He insists that Ameer gets up and begins to walk. Mina and this man lead him out of the room and get him into the courtyard.

Harriet sees them and begins to walk over. She sends the chemist back to the men’s area.

Clare is doing research on the nun and starts to question her motives.

Sofie is watching the kids play from her window. She goes outside to walk around. She sees an exchange going on between the men’s side and the woman’s side of the camp. Could it be more pictures?

We are back in the cafeteria and Cam is on door duty. The man in the camp that Cam talks to takes Cam away. He wants Cam to get a new attorney for him. While this happens, a refugee throws soup in the face of another guard.

There is a huge commotion and Sofie tries to escape on the back of a food truck. The same woman from the fence exchange, Rosna, stops her and tells her to get back inside. Rosna must have a reason to keep her there.

We then see Cam about to go to his interview for the incident that happened with Harriet. Brian has decided that all three of them will be terminated when he can get replacements.

Stateless Season 1: Will the nun get caught?

The nun is back at the camp. She tries to convince Cam to let her cooked chicken not go through the scanner. Cam allows her through but Clare runs over and asks to go through the chicken. She finds a phone.

Clare then meets with the person the nun was supposed to meet with, Javad. This is the man that talked to Sofie before and the same man Rosna gave something to through the fence.

He is the mastermind behind whatever is going on at the camp. He says he will share what he knows as long as Clare keeps him out of isolation.

He tells Clare about the protest on Sunday but then says that this is just the beginning. Clare had lied and tells the officers to take him to isolation.

Clare asks Brian to not fire Cam and the other man that was involved in the misconduct. She needs more guards to help with Sunday’s protest.

When she arrives home, her reporter neighbor confronts her about putting Javad in isolation.

While at the camp, Sofie flashes back to the past. She has gone to Pat at GOPA and begs to be allowed back. Pat turns her away. Sofie is on the floor crying at the camp and the other women come to console her.

We then see Harriet has gotten her job back. This just doesn’t sit well.

Ameer is sitting with his daughter when Farid says that they know another man at the camp. It is the man that helped Ameer rob the scammers. Ameer is not happy about this and takes Mina inside.

Clare is walking the perimeter of the camp and find a hole in the corner of it. She then goes to see Rosna. In her regular accent, Sofie tells Rosna that she is coming with her.
