2.  Emmys 2020: Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist has been a delightful breath of fresh air on NBC. The musical comedy series has really helped prove how dynamic and talented Jane Levy is as a lead actress.

It would be a shame if she was ignored by the Emmys, as I truly think she deserves to get a nod for her terrific work in the first season. I wouldn’t be mad about Lauren Grahm getting a nomination either.

1. Emmys 2020: On Becoming a God in Central Florida

It is honestly a shame that On Becoming a God in Central Florida did not get as much attention as it deserved upon its initial debut last August. Kirsten Dunst killed it in her role as Krystal Stubbs, a minimum-wage worker who slowly ascends up the ranks of a multi-level marketing scheme that was responsible for sending her family into ruin.

She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award but it’s a shame none of the other cast members received nods. It’s going to be tough competition though, as it was ruled that the show would have to compete as a drama, and not a comedy, for the Emmys 2020.
