The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 11: “Morning Star”

As The Hilltop is preparing for Alpha and The Whisperers to arrive Judith takes a moment to give Daryl a most thoughtful gift. Over the course of time Daryl’s iconic angel wings on the back of his vest have been slowly disintegrating until one of the wings fell off entirely.

With a sweet smile Judith reveals that she had painted on a new wing. Daryl excitedly puts the vest back on as now he has both wings again.

Norman and Cailey Fleming (Judith) share this beautiful scene reminding audiences just how essential Daryl has been to Judith throughout her life. Daryl risked his life getting baby formula and feeding Judith in Season 3.

He has watched her grow becoming more like Rick and Carl every day.

While Daryl understands that Judith wants to help and be seen as a strong individual he still instructs her that if King Ezekiel comes looking for her that she is to take RJ and go with him. Regardless of what happens to him.

She promises him and they share a warm embrace. If Rick could see this moment now, he’d be so proud and grateful to have Daryl as a brother.

This is just one of two scenes on this list that Daryl and Judith share melting the hearts of audiences everywhere.
