The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 14 “Look at the Flowers”

If there was one person whom hasn’t forgiven Negan it’s Daryl. This is even after learning that he and Carol were working together to kill Alpha.

Negan’s confession wound up being one of the most emotionally powerful scenes on The Walking Dead to date.

After Negan and Daryl work together to kill several Whisperers claiming Negan to be the new Alpha they have a solemn moment. While Negan confesses to Daryl how much he did enjoy being accepted and respected by Alpha and The Whisperers Daryl listens intently.

Even though they are facing completely different directions and Norman stays relatively quiet it is one of those moments where fans can almost read Daryl’s mind. If Daryl was already unsure if he can forgive and accept Negan before, he is certainly one step closer to making a decision now.

While Daryl listens he appears to understand Negan’s reasoning and might be starting to believe in this other side to him that he never witnessed before.

Negan even managed to get a slight chuckle from Daryl before he leaves in search for Carol. He doesn’t have to look long before she arrives at Alexandria’s gate looking exhausted and hardly acknowledging Daryl’s presence.
