Star Trek Day: Here’s how you can celebrate the virtual event
By Monita Mohan
It’s almost Star Trek Day. Here’s how to celebrate.
September 8 is all Star Trek, all day. Well, almost. To celebrate the debut of the original Star Trek on September 8, 1966, fans can enjoy a 24-hour long virtual fest. Included in Star Trek Day are curated marathons of Star Trek shows on CBS All Access, online community get-togethers and panel discussions featuring the cast and crew of all the major Star Trek shows.
Best of all, the virtual panels can be streamed completely free. While the Star Trek Day episode marathons on CBS All Access are only available to US subscribers, those who have access will be able to watch select episodes from the original series to new shows Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Lower Decks, Star Trek: Discovery and everything in between.
