As we all know, the story of Princess Diana (Corrin) and Prince Charles (O’Connor) doesn’t have a happy ending. Fans of The Crown have been eagerly awaiting Diana’s story since the show was announced, so there are high expectations for the upcoming season.
When does The Crown Season 4 premiere? What is the storyline?
The new season will begin streaming on Nov. 15. At the end of Season 3, the story ended in the late ’70s. Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) celebrated her 25th year as the leader of the U.K. Season 4 will primarily focus on the evolving romance between Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. As we all know, the romance was depicted as a fairy tale romance, but Diana’s version of events was a much different story.
While Corrin is playing young Diana, Elizabeth Debicki will take over the role for the final two seasons of the series and Imelda Staunton will play the older Queen Elizabeth. The series will wrap with the sixth and final season, which will take the storyline through to the early 2000s.
