Netflix has officially confirmed The Umbrella Academy Season 3! Now we’re starting to consider what we might like to see from future episodes.
After several months of anticipation, Deadline has confirmed that Netflix renewed The Umbrella Academy! Considering it is one of the streamer’s most popular series, I didn’t necessarily fear cancellation, but you never know with the pandemic. It’s nice to know for sure we’re officially getting The Umbrella Academy Season 3. According to the outlet, production on the ten-episode third season will start in February.
With confirmation for The Umbrella Academy Season 3 cemented, it’s time to start considering what we might like to see from the show moving forward. For instance, I hope the show sticks with Season 2’s shorter episodes, as it greatly benefitted the pacing from the first season to the second. Here are five more things we’d like to see from The Umbrella Academy Season 3!

5. Allison using her powers more.
Since Season 1, I’ve wanted to see Allison Hargreeves, who arguably has the most powerful ability of all, use her powers more. It’s a shame that she’s barely tried to do anything substantial with her abilities between the first two seasons.
It’d be cool to see a “darker” Allison, which was briefly teased in the second season. In the comics, her powers have the ability to warp reality. I wish that would translate to the television show!
I understand why the writers might be hesitant. Would that make her too overpowered? But as a response to that, I think they could implement certain limitations or even a stronger villain that might be resistant, similar to how Lila was in that she could mirror Allison’s power back at her.
