5 things we want to see in The Umbrella Academy Season 3

4. Ben getting more screentime.

Most fans of The Umbrella Academy agree that Justin Min is fantastic and sadly underutilized. It was fans who helped get Ben’s role expanded in Season 2, but what I think we all want is to see Ben genuinely interacting with siblings beyond just Klaus (no offense, we love Klaus/Ben).

It was heartwarming when Ben and Diego got to share a hug in Season 2, so let’s hope this weird Sparrow Academy Ben will eventually become similar to the Ben we all know and love. At the very least, The Umbrella Academy Season 3 promises interactions between Min and other castmates, even if he is playing a weird emo!Ben, and that is something to be excited about.

3. More Lila and Diego.

It goes without saying that characters who try to have a romance on The Umbrella Academy are probably doomed to fail. Not one relationship has lasted thus far, and most have had serious complications. But Lila (Ritu Arya) was a fantastic addition to The Umbrella Academy Season 2, and, in my opinion, her relationship with Diego was one of the high points.

While Lila vanishes at the end of the second season, both Arya and the writers have discussed the possibility of her return. I know I would love to see her come back in some capacity and maybe even become an official part of the family someday.
