Ozark Season 4 is gearing up to be quite the send-off as the Netflix series adds five new cast members for the final chapter.

Ozark Season 4 is quickly gaining traction towards rounding out things for its fourth and final season. It feels bittersweet that the series is ending, but as we’ve seen time and time again, every amazing show must end before it wears out its welcome. The best of shows have always known to do that, and so as sad as I am, I’m also relieved Ozark Season 4 will end this insane sage of drugs, murder, and conspiracy–especially after that Season 3 finale.

In these strange times of COVID-19, shows and movies have figured out a way to get back on set and do what they need to do to churn out material. While it’s not always foolproof, it seems to be doing the trick, for the most part, allowing shows that have not yet begun filming to start planning.

Ozark Season 4 has reached that point as TVLine officially reported that five new cast members had been added for the final season. It’s quite a handful of people to add, especially for the final installment, but it certainly makes sense, given the direction the story is currently going in.

Ozark Season 4: Who is joining the cast?

As I’ve already mentioned, there are quite a few people to get excited about as we look ahead to the final season. Exorcist’s Alfonso Herrera is all set to play a villain (this will be good!) named Javi Elizonndro, who is part of the Navarro family. As we’ll come to see, he’s eager to take over his uncle’s cartel but attempts to do so in a discrete manner.

Also joining the cast is Ripper Street’s Adam Rothenberg, Narcos’ Bruno Bichir, Outer Banks’ CC Castillo, and Tommy’s Katrina Lenk, all of whom are set to appear in recurring roles. Rothenberg will play a disgraced cop turned private eye named Mel Sattern, who we can only imagine will somehow get regrettably involved with the Byrde family drama. Bichir is set to play a priest/Navarro’s confessor while Castillo is taking on the role of Sheriff Leigh Guerrero. Last but not least, Lenk will be playing the role of Clare Shaw, who is involved in big pharma and will undoubtedly find herself facing the glory and downfall of power.

In addition to the above, Felix Solis and Damian Young, both season 3 guest stars, have been promoted to series regulars for Ozark Season 4.

It’s gearing up to be quite an exciting final season, and I think we can all expect the series to go out with a big bang as it releases in two parts, with seven episodes each in 2021 and 2022.
