According to Sarah Paulson’s recent social media post, American Crime Story: Impeachment officially begins principal photography.

Sarah Paulson is the staple for any Ryan Murphy series. Whether he’s busy making Netflix shows or keeping his legacy on FX/Fox alive, you can almost always bet that Paulson will be a part of it somehow, which is why it comes as no surprise whatsoever that she is also a part of American Crime Story‘s third season, which will portray the Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinksy sex scandal.

She will be playing the role of Linda Tripp, the woman who infamously became known as Lewinsky’s confidant who had recorded Lewinsky’s phone call conversations talking about her and Clinton’s relationship. Sarah Paulson took to social media to share the first look at her as Tripp, and I think we can all agree, you can’t recognize Paulson at all.

I don’t know who is doing the makeup for their shows, but they kill it every time with their attention to detail. It’s always uncanny and impressive how they pull it off.

TVLine shared Paulson’s tweet and reminded us just how epic the rest of the cast is going to be. Along with Paulson, we have Clive Owen playing Clinton, Booksmart’s Beanie Feldstein playing Lewinsky, GLOW’s Betty Gilpin as Ann Coulter, another Ryan Murphy favorite Billy Eichner as Drudge Report founder Matt Drudge, and Annaleigh Ashford as Paula Jones, another woman who had sued Clinton in the late 90s for sexual harassment.

It’s an all-star cast for a series that will definitely take us back in time to a very tumultuous and awkward period in American politics. If you were old enough to remember what the news was like back then, you know what I’m talking about.

Sadly, the series was meant to premiere at the end of September, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Murphy’s insanely busy schedule, things got moved around quite a bit. And as a result, they’re just now beginning to get things started.

But with how fast Murphy shows are made, I think we can fully expect a Spring 2021 premiere date.
