Disney Plus’s Zenimation transports you to a variety of Disney films through calming sights and sounds centered around a range of themes.

The holidays are almost here which means Disney Plus has come to the rescue in the form of Zenimation! Not only is the streaming service offering holiday movies and specials but something else entirely. Since the holidays can tend to be stressful, especially this year, it’s key that we take the time to find ways to relax. This is where Disney Plus’s Zenimation comes in.

Zenimation is comprised of eleven episodes focused on calming themes such as water, flight, explore and nature. Rated G, each video lasts only a couple of minutes except for Episode 11 titled “Extended Edition” which runs for forty-nine minutes.

During each Zenimation episode, several scenes from Disney and Pixar films play fluidly one after the other focusing on the sounds of the theme. In Episode 1 “Water” you can hear and watch seagulls and dolphins at the beginning of The Little Mermaid. In Episode 4 “Flight” you can hear the sounds of Pegasus arriving from the sky to meet Hercules for the first time in Hercules and so forth.

It’s fun to watch scenes play out from a variety of Disney and Pixar films, especially ones you may not have ever seen or haven’t seen in quite a while. Since these episodes are short they are ideal for when you have those brief moments of peace and quiet.

Easily turn on the episode of what sounds you want to hear, close your eyes and drift off. Zenimation is a wonderful reminder of how important self-care is. Disney has figured out how to apply self-care to their vast collection of films and animation. If you find yourself in need of some alone time, sit back, and enjoy the peaceful sounds and visuals!
