Lots of new shows coming to Netflix 2021 look incredible. Here are five we’re super excited to watch!

No matter how many new streaming services pop up, Netflix remains the top dog and champion of the streaming wars. There are tons of new shows coming to Netflix 2021 that look fantastic, from horror to comedy to drama and everything in between. The following list highlights five shows that are currently scheduled to debut next year.

While there are many popular Netflix Originals slated to return in 2021, like Stranger Things and The Witcher, this list focuses on the new series we’re eager to binge-watch!

5. Shows coming to Netflix 2021: Inventing Anna

Yes, Shonda Rhimes served as a producer on Bridgerton, but Inventing Anna will be the first series she will be creating, writing, producing and potentially directing under her overall deal with the streaming service. Led by Julia Garner, one of the breakout stars of fellow Netflix drama Ozark, Inventing Anna is based on the New York Magazine article “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People” by Jessica Pressler.

Anna Delvey, real name Anna Vadimovna Sorokina, is a Russian-born scam artist that created a fictitious persona of a wealthy German heiress to con people out of money. Apart from Garner, Inventing Anna also stars Anna Chlumsky, Katie Lowes, Laverne Cox, Alexis Floyd, Arian Moayed, Anders Holm, Anna Deavere Smith, Jeff Perry and Terry Kinney. The series does not currently have a premiere date.
